Shoulder stiffness accumulates daily from using smartphones and working at a desk.
It would be great to be able to do a quick stretch during the day, wouldn’t it?
Improving blood circulation is key to relieving that stiffness.
Here is a simple stretch you can do whether you are sitting or standing.
Start by straightening your back and letting your arms hang loosely at your sides. Then, take a deep breath in through your nose while shrugging your shoulders up tightly, bringing them as close to your ears as possible.
Hold this position for about five seconds, then exhale sharply through your mouth while instantly relaxing and dropping your shoulders.
Repeat this process about ten times.
The cycle of tensing and relaxing the shoulder muscles helps them unwind and improves blood circulation.
